Congress voted on a bill to legally steal $2.9 Trillion from social security and put it in the general treasury to make the debt look less than it is. A common practice during the 80’s, “Investors” would buy out a company or buy controlling stock, liquidate the fully funded retirement account, (they publicly considered it free money just laying around doing nothing) pocket the funds and sell off or close the business.
