Cat-suo bushi sushi!!

Ate sushi for the first time last year. Wasabi is not guacamole. Thought I was going to die….it took my breath away….whoa!

“If you knew Sushi, like I knew Sushi…Ohh, Ohh, OH, What a meal…”

Works for me.

I see a mousie.

My idea of heaven.

I’d like to give a shout out to the colorist of this cartoon. Nice subtlety of coloration on the varieties of sushi. (Okay, now I’m hungry.)

Looks like my cat, hungry all the time.

I ate sushi for the first time three years ago. Before that, I really didn’t like fish, even the smell of fresh fish really bothered me. It was like a vaccination; after eating (and enjoying) some really good sushi and sashimi, I can now eat fish with no trouble. I’m picky about where I buy it though.

Note to self: do not pile wasabi and daikon onto a piece of butter fish and just stuff it in all at once. Not if you want to keep breathing.

Love that kyurimaki. And altho I’m a veg, I have to admit that unagizushi is irresistible. I’ll pass on all the sashimi-based ones, though. No parasites for me!

I don’t believe that was his first cup of sake…
