    Back when smoking was allowed indoors, it seemed that if anybody was smoking nearby all their smoke went to me. The most amazing time was pointed out by a coworker, smoking on my left side, that his smoke was somehow blowing straight to me, and also from the smoker sitting at my right side, both at the same time. Kind of like being uphill (and downwind) in ‘both directions’. The best explanation that we could come up with was that the overhead vent above that table was actually an uptake vent instead of an output vent, so that it was sucking air upwards, from all directions.

    Um, Ziggy? You don’t have to stand there. You could move over and stand somewhere else and only be rained on instead of rain-from-umbrella-’d on.
