I love the depiction of the Cat News anchors of old complete with mics and amphoras of tea! (I know amphoras are Greek but I’m drawing a blank on the Egyptian equivalent.)

I enjoyed reading all the comments yesterday about how our cats acquired their names. That left me curious about something. Among all those cats with all those names, how many of them actually responded to those names? Jasper was the only cat I ever had who understood that his name was Jasper and would come running so long a I doubled it by calling out, Jasper, JASSSSSSpurrrrrrr!

Did the Woman photoshop that artistic background into the final photo? It goes well with the sweaters.

I live Pucky’s hairdo. AmazIng. Just combing it made it longer.

Oh! So much going on in this one! Love the sculpture of Bast! And Mommy’s happy boy! Haha! (clapping hands) Poor Elvis’ dignity. And Pucky looking suave combing his raven locks. In the last panel Elvis looks either hypnotized or asleep.

Well, well. Elvis is definitely left pawed. He moves his mic from his left paw to his right so he can use the pointer with his dominant paw. Puck, on the other hand, er, paw, appears to be right pawed: he holds his mic in his right paw, and moves it to his left so he can use the comb with his right paw.

Cat pictures are the reason why the internet exists, cats.

Looks like Pucky has been sneaking episodes of America’s Next Top Model when the People are sleeping. He is working his angles and nailing it H2T (Head-2-Tail).

Elvis, you can’t deny you have a look of complete, zonked-out contentment while you’re lying on the laundry in that image.

That “Lazer Background” in the last panel! It used to be offered as one of two choices of backgrounds (the other being a plain white wall) in school pictures every year here in the U.S.
