When I was a kid in the UK the Salvation Army would send a band around to the street corners to play and raise money. My dad and his pals would run home and get lemons to suck on in front of the brass instrument players until they got mad and chased them off.

I wish you wouldn’t refer to the salvation army like this. The way they treat folks who need them but wont “repent” can be horrible.

I detest those bells. I would much rather donate to someone singing (if they sing well) or playing a musical instrument.

Seemed funny that when I went to the next comic an advertisement for the Salvation Army showed up.
