The Bears Ears area has more antiquities sites than Mesa Verde, Colorado. Utah’s Congressmen always love to destroy Utahs’ beautiful natural resources for low profit short term gains, in exchange for a clean environment and better economic outdoor enthusiast dollars. Heck, they even tried to force California to export coal from a California sea port despite Californians refusing to pollute their lands to line Utahs big coal pockets. Utah wants the Olympic games to come back to the state. Do they deserve them?
It is an insult to Americans not just to indigenous Native Americans but to all of us who live in this country. National monuments were created to save and conserve the beauty that makes up this country. Trump wants to see it polluted and stripped so that his Rich donors and his Rich buddies can all make their mark that will never be forgotten in the ravaged scarred ugliness that they will leave behind.
