Well, Lab Rat hasn’t been training for very long. I think he has promise, once he gets better control of his form and entry. Could work his way up to as high as an 8.5, maybe 8.75. I don’t think he’ll ever get higher than that….
Rats are actually very good swimmers, that is one of the reasons rats have hairless tails, the others being it’s his temperature gage like why dogs pant. If you can teach your rat that fun can be had in the water by making it nice and warm, and start with shallow and make fishing for peas a bonus, then you will always have a nice clean rat who has fun playing in water. It’s good for their brains too!
