Is this what America really stands for now or are we going to correct a defective, dysfunctional, mutually exclusive, self-serving two party system into a system that forms congresses of representatives of the people who will cooperate to deliver the best possible legislation for everyone not just the wealthy?

That little tax cut she gets is going to go to the major programs cut she’ll have to pay for out of her pocket from now on. Fortunately the guy on the left won’t have to worry about her, and the guy on the left has not say in the matter. This is what the Republicans of fiscal responsibility and family values is leaving to the next generation, because they are incompetent when it comes to real legislation.
For decades the GOP has run for office on stopping the rise of the debt and paying it down as otherwise following generations will have to pay it down. Yet every time they get power, they reduce the revenue stream and increase spending on many items with no economic return. If you use a 1 million dollar bomb, there is no return on the investment.

It’s not clear that she will get a tax cut at all. In some of the lower brackets there will be a tax increase.
