A question to old timers here, does the Moon Gov wear something on his wrist before? A watch or something similar? Because if he didn’t have any, I still think that what he wore last Sunday is a wrist wizard.
I like that Diet says, “Their return.” While we have only seen the Governor in the Coupe and in Tracyville, we know there are four more Space Coupes. Today we see a photo of a Space Coupe, Diet holding forth while holding a stogie, Gouldian snowflakes outside (in keeping with the season), and Mysta Chimera in glorious 3D. Works for me.
Going back to yesterday’s discussion about variations in the Moon Coupes. I don’t think that Diet ever got far enough along to put the Coupes into mass production, so each one that was made would essentially be a one-off. On top of that, the magnetic propulsion system was a new enough technology that with each coupe built, Diet’s engineers would learn new things and come up with new ideas to incorporate into the next one.
For those reasons, I find it quite plausible that the Coupes would have minor variations which could differentiate them.
I’ve been capitalizing Moon when I’m talking about Earth’s moon, because I consider it to be like a proper name, but today I was wondering if I was going too far with the capitalization. I found an astronomer from Cornell agrees with me, so I’m going to continue to capitalize.
If there were ever a new live-action Dick Tracy film, the woman on the right in this photo could play Mysta. This is from a series of pics that appear to be photo-shopped, but are not. The look is supposedly done with make-up only.
Sam’s words (panel 3) may be prophetic in some sense (and we already know that our Gweedo needs to be hosed down!). Mysta Chimera’s effect on Moon Governor (doesn’t the poor guy have a name? Did he ever have one?) may not be quite the same, but their meeting will seem like a reunion, I suspect, perhaps to both.
Meanwhile, Matty Squared and Sawtooth remain on the prowl. There could be quite an explosive larger meeting when (if) all these different forces, and the MCU, collide….
