Right, there’s not a single tax-cut-deprived billionaire in that whole bunch.

And HERE is how much the Republicans REALLY CARE about American voters. Are you tired of “winning” YET, Trumplings???

“Doctors, represented by the American Medical Association, are against the Cassidy-Graham bill, which is the third and probably final effort to kill Obamacare this year. The American Cancer Society and just about all other patient advocacy groups are against it. So are insurers, drugmakers and hospitals. The AARP, the influential lobbying group for seniors, strongly opposes it. So are all Democrats everywhere, at least four Republican governors and some other conservatives.

Public approval of the Republican effort to kill Obamacare rests well below 20%, while approval of Obamacare itself has crested at 50%. By some measures, the law Republicans want to kill is three times as popular as the law they want to replace it with.

Yet Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and his lieutenants are determined to try for a third time to kill Obamacare — and they might succeed. There will be just one public hearing on Cassidy-Graham before the Senate votes, and the Congressional Budget Office won’t even have time to analyze the bill’s likely effect on the federal budget and the number of Americans with insurance by then. If there were ever a ramrod piece of legislation that you’d think wouldn’t have a prayer, this is it."

They want this bill to go through so badly that they are bribing Alaska and Wisconsin with millions of dollars in what would be medical kickback. Comes down to Alaska’s and Wisconsin’s and Arizona’s vote again. So they’re trying to buy those votes. This bill is not popular with the states it will cost them millions in Medicare cuts.. some of the Senators who have bought into it have been convinced that these problems will be solved behind closed doors. How gullible can they be?

This was NEVER about repealing a fatally ‘flawed’ piece of healthcare legislation and replacing it with a more workable program! The G.O.P. has only ONE GOAL – the utter destruction of American Healthcare, thereby freeing up money for their Lords and Masters, the Donor Class. Influential members of the 1% have delivered an ultimatum to the Senate – destroy the Affordable Care Act and give us our ‘tax reduction’ or we’ll stop donating to your campaigns. Republicans are absolutely UNCONCERNED about the healthcare aspects of their supposed “Healthcare” bill – that’s NOT THE PURPOSE of their bill! That’s why, in all likelihood, the vote will be cast before republicans know what’s in the bill and before the Senate knows what the C.B.O. score is – it doesn’t MATTER – this is a purely political exercise- pass the bill so the “fat cat” contributions keep rolling in! Simple!

The Republicans say “I am not a scientist” while they denigrate climate change scientists. They make laws to limit access to abortion and birth control without any understanding or medical backing of their claims.

.They want to repeal Obamacare just because they said they would. The real solution is to FIX the issues with ACA. There has never been a major project or program that was ever implemented that didn’t require some things to be fixed later.

I cannot fathom how in a so-called capitalist society, that business leaders are not screaming for a healthy workforce and universal coverage. Workers that can come in and focus on their jobs and not stress about things like how to pay for a sick child are more productive. Workers that can take care of an illness when it is cheap to treat before it gets out of control and cause a disruption at work.

John McCain kill the bill. God bless you John McCain. He said he can’t vote for it he said he won’t vote for it as it stands. So it won’t pass this time I guess.

As a member of 4 of those groups (not shown in the cartoon, but The American Cancer Society is also there), all I can say to the health care deniers is, “Bugger off.”

The real reason the GOP is pushing so hard to repeal the ACA.

    https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2017/jun/26/koch-network-piggy-banks-closed-republicans-healthcare-tax-reform

At a weekend donor retreat attended by at least 18 elected officials, the Koch brothers warned that time is running out to push their agenda, most notably healthcare and tax reform, through Congress.

One Texas-based donor warned Republican lawmakers that his “Dallas piggy bank” was now closed, until he saw legislative progress.

“Get Obamacare repealed and replaced, get tax reform passed,” said Doug Deason. “Get it done and we’ll open it back up.”

Nonetheless, Koch officials said that the network’s midterm budget for policy and politics is between $300m and $400m.

Trump doesn’t read anything. Gets his info at places like FOX NEWS. Gen. Kelly should slip a resignation letter on his desk. Trump will sign and think he did something great. In this case he would have!
