I am curious though, I wonder what he sees when he looks at her.
“To him, I rather think it does!” Great line. And I like Loewe; she keeps her head. No wonder she is the leader of the group.
“Löwe” (lion) does sound a little like English “loaf”, but otherwise I don’t see why he thought he heard that word. “Brot” certainly doesn’t sound like it.
