    Morning, Village!

    .

Cindy isn’t doing much here in Texas. Of course, I can’t speak for Louisiana, but as far as hurricanes go, this one was a bust.

    Howdy Vagabonds

Sunshine, on my shoulder makes me happy. I’m happy this morning. Weather report says 81 today. :-)

On the national news this morning they were saying that Cindy was giving Galveston a bit of a hard time. Glad she’s not being to hard on you David.

Vermont weather is easy, just wait a minute

    Blessed day all.

    Good a.m., Vagabonds,

Great morning! Nice and fresh. Glad Cindy doesn’t like you,David.

And, Jan, I sure hope your heat wave breaks soon.

We had several memorable food moments on the trip. First was awesome BBQ in Columbia, Missouri. Everything smoked to perfection, Kansas City style, with the dry rub and you put on the sauce. The second place was the graduation dinner where I tasted Calamari for the first time….actually very good. And the last was a real Polish restaurant in Taylor Michigan. Mmmmmmm!

With all that said, I only gained 2 pounds the whole trip, :)).

    Happy trails to all.

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

Rita, it sounds like an awesome culinary trip as well as scenic and family. Another month or so (hopefully) and we’ll be off, too.

Yesterday the gardeners came and cleaned up the yard and it looks great. A few of the bushes got cut back so far they look like early spring twigs at the moment. They will grow out again, though. Today we finally get the shower door fixed on the RV, so another early morning pack-up and move the rig, and figure out what to do with the cats while the thing is in the shop. They told me it will take all day, so Michael will follow me to the dealer, then I’ll take him to work and take the cats to the house (along with their food & litter box) for the day. It will be interesting to see how they react to the empty house. It’s not quite the last time we need to do this. There’s still the video system that needs to be checked out and fixed.

    Everyone have a blessed day.
