The transition from Keynesian to Neo-liberal economics has not been good for the middle class, especially those who had manufacturing jobs and now work in service. The coasts are in reasonable shape, but the middle of the US has been neglected by the self-serving political parties for decades. Their failure to work together for the common good of the people is shameful.

Only Bernie gets to decide how much money the ‘people’ should have. Anyone with too much will have their excess taken away by force.

^ Thankfully, Trump is beating him to it so Bernie can’t.

If the ultra-rich employed hundreds of thousands of people in those jobs, this toon might have a point. The top .01% have rigged the system, so that almost all the gains in productivity have gone to them since Reagan was President.

They spend that money to invest overseas, instead of making jobs here. Middle class income is pretty much all spent here. The middle class create far more jobs for boat builders, cooks & child caregivers than the wealthy. Not to mention almost every other profession. If you want more economic growth in the USA, you should support pro-labor politicians.

Back to those five-legged sheep. Fascist dictatorships have traditionally been considered to be right wing. Scandinavia is left wing, along with highest standard of living, “happiness scale”, healthiest, etc. Name-calling only calls attention to your lack of facts.

@Dennis“Or maybe they should realize early on why their bad career,life,drug/alcohol use and job decisions are causing them to be poor. Then change their uneducated, unskilled ways.”

So, it’s your belief, like most Republicans, that unemployment is the fault of those who are unemployed.

    .

Does that, I wonder, include those who live in coal mining areas?

Or maybe they should have all pulled themselves up by their bootstraps and started up some high tech companies or bought out the coal companies so they could be rich themselves.

    .

Or maybe you were just referring to, you know, Those People.

Maybe if we give more tax cuts to the rich, they’ll really help the poor and unemployed this time. It has never worked before but I can see from this toon, personal chef and yacht builders are really hurting. Why won’t Trump help them? Doesn’t he know the rich need these people to make their lives better?

I just get sick every time one of these filthy rich politicians try to act like they understand those of us real working class schmucks. Bernie—you and your ilk make me sick!
